used AutoHotkey to imitate the automatic copying of mouse selections and pasting with middle click. I had to left-click before middle-clicking or leave the scroll symbol (the second image) and middle-click again, and there aren’t two clipboards like with GNU. With GNU, AKA Linux, if I select something with the mouse or keyboard and copy it with the Ctrl+c keyboard shortcut, it will still be on the clipboard to paste with the Ctrl+v keyboard shortcut even if I make another selection with the mouse, and that subsequent selection will still be on another clipboard to paste with the middle mouse button. I also had to manually copy before middle click would paste into Word. One drawback is that clicking Emacs occasionally sends a C-c, but I’m not supposed to use a mouse for Emacs anyway.
